Ursolic Acid Spray: From Bodybuilding to Anti-Aging, A Ursolic Acid Benefits Review

Ursolic Acid spray has received a flood of attention following research demonstrating ursolic acid benefits that fight muscle wasting and increase strength.

Green tomato makes a compound called "Tomatidine" which holds certain properties that can treat muscle decay (atrophy). As concluded by a new study performed by the University of Iowa, the researchers found that tomatidine can help generate more muscle mass and better strength gains.

Ursolic acid was able to increase strength by 30% and muscle mass by 10% according to Dr. Rhonda Patrick.

With the help of a research tool referred to as a “System Map, scientists Christopher Adams from U of I was able to determine that Tomatidine increases the expression of genes that naturally fight muscle loss and muscle cell atrophy.

The landmark study concluded that mice supplementing with Tomatidine were far more resilient in the face of long term immobility and poor diet - showing more muscle growth and greater endurance compared to the control group.

The Tomatidine supplementing group were able to hold onto muscle mass while losing large amounts of fat.

While these studies offer infinite promise, there is still a lack of clinical research in human beings.

My Ursolic Acid Spray Personal Review...

I started out using a supplement called Endothil CR by Novex Biotech that lists green tomato extract as a core ingredient. $200 worth for one run - not to easy on the wallet.

Luckily, during this trial period I was able to maintain steady diet and exercise practices which would lend any finding I might have some more credibility (No - I wasn’t able to make it a double blind study obviously).

I am happy to report that I saw pretty awesome results. Whether it was the green leaf extract (with Tomatidine and Ursolic Acid) or any of the other ingredients is up for debate.

What I do know is that the benefits apparent to green apple or green tomato extract have drawn a lot of attention from the bodybuilding and anti-aging community. Ursolic acid and tomatidine especially get this attention because they are able to ramp up nature levels of the hormone IGF - 1.

This is impressive because heightened IGF - 1 helps with fat loss and muscle maintenance but is usually associated with decreased longevity. However, the “non supraphysiological range” that Ursolic Acid is able to push your IGF - 1 levels to does not have the associated life-shortening aspects that befall those who use human growth hormone (HGH).

All of this information gets me pumped about the future of Ursolic Acid supplements but currently there is not a solid supplement for sale on the market.

The Ursolic Acid Spray I used was OK but the new ursolic acid and tomatidine blend called Ursolodine has already blown up with strength athletes who've been raving about it to me. So, I'm committing to a 6 week body recomp with it for more lean muscle mass and will be doing my write-up the end of August. Be sure to check back in!

Stay optimal friends ;)
